Sofia Maria Allende

Sofia María Allende served as the Regenerative Agriculture and Sustainability Manager of Dos Colinas Management. She holds a Bachelor in Agricultural Sciences and Sustainability degree from EARTH University, Costa Rica. Sofi designed and implemented all of Toji Nature Retreat’s gardens, incorporating almost all native plants and focusing on ecosystem restoration. She has advised the community about sustainable practices in many different areas. On the farm, Sofía has managed to design and execute a Regenerative Food Forest to provide Toji’s Kitchen and future Dos Colinas’s community, educating Toji’s guests and co-workers on these regenerative practices and sustainability in general. Her focus on holistic management has been leading her to adapt herself to different ecosystems, aligning with her purpose, which is to regenerate one inch of soil at a time. On weekends she likes to read, draw and enjoy nature with the companionship of her dog, Homero.
